New family members
Lately, the Rudkjær family has been blessed with 2 new tiny people. This weekend we were invited to a afternoon "housewarming, birthday and naming party" at Funen where most of my family lives. The attraction was of course the two babies: A baby girl named Liv (it was her naming party) and a baby boy called (he will be baptised next year) Liam. The fathers to the babies are my two cousins, who are also brothers. So after 21 years with no babies in the family that side of the family is going crazy e.g. buying everything that is baby related, making baby clothes themselves, and all conversations are about those two cute babies. Even though they are adorable and they behaved very well that day, I didn't bring any of them back home in my handbag (wonder how Anders would have reacted...), since I did notice how much time it takes to take care of such helpless little human beings. Do people apply for an extension of the day when they have a baby (and do they get it)? Pictures: Liam (top, left) and Liv (bottom).
